Depression Era Circus Annual Tea Party… Awesome.

The 2010 Book Club event was the Mad Tea Party. For 2011 we went for a totally different theme. Another great example of what you can do with thrift store finds. We ‘expanded’ slightly. Inspired by Water For Elephants we hosted a Depression Era Circus Tea Party. No tea, just wine. It was truly magical. I highly recommend playing dress up (at least once a year). And I cannot wait for 2012’s event!

So. Much. Fun.

Painting the Roses Red. A Mad Tea Party.

A knack for thrift shopping also comes in handy when you’re planning a tea party. Here is our Mad Tea Party that was held this past June:

Most of the decor and costumes came from thrift and antique shops. This party cost next to nothing!

Next year, we join the circus.
